One price list, everywhere it is shown

For independent vet groups with a handful of practices. Your published prices and your complaints log kept on record, with the dated proof ready when someone asks.

01On record

What has to be on record

  • The CMA’s Order requires a standard price list, priced by pet weight band, one click from the homepage and shown in the practice.
  • Group ownership disclosed.
  • A complaints process that acknowledges within 5 working days, responds within 8 weeks, and keeps a log shared with the regulator on request.
  • Later duties include written estimates for treatment of £500 or more, itemised bills, and prescription-fee caps.

Your own advisers and procedures decide what your group records. This page is about keeping those records, not about what the Order means for your practice.

02First workflow

The first workflow we would build: published prices

One master price list, kept in one place and approved once. Each approved version gets a number and a date, and publishing it regenerates the website page and every branch’s printed list, each with dated proof of publication.

Each month the master list is compared with your practice system’s export, so a branch still showing last month’s price is flagged and fixed. Complaints are logged with their two clocks running, and one pack per remedy holds the dated proofs.

03Dates that matter

Dates that matter

  • The CMA’s Order for vet businesses was made on 22 September 2026. Businesses with 15 or more first-opinion practices start from 23 December 2026.
  • For smaller businesses, the first deadlines fall around 23 March 2027 and the later ones around 23 September 2027.

04Example

An example

A short 3D walkthrough with fictional data and prices follows one group of three branches: the master list approved once, published everywhere, a drifted poster caught at Branch 2, and a complaint with its two clocks.

05Licences

Built in the Microsoft 365 you already have

Microsoft 365 business plans include standard Power Platform connectors at no extra cost. Anything needing an extra licence is flagged in the review, before you decide.
